Our Skills Development and CSI Programmes
The ICT sector has been identified as a key job driver, and the mere nature of the industry calls for a highly skilled workforce. Dartcom launched its Telecommunications Learning Centre in July 2014 with the aim of providing a platform for skills development. The company also contributes to various non-profit organisations.
Training Programmes Offered
Special courses, focused on the telecommunication industry are delivered at our facility as part of our contribution to the skills development in the sector.

The Learnership Programme
Dartcom launched its Learnership Programme in 2013 providing classroom and workplace integration learning in the industries that Dartcom participates in. The aim is to develop learners and provide them with workplace experience to ensure they are afforded better work opportunities or empowered to start their own businesses through entrepreneurship. 2021 marks the 8th learnership programme run by Dartcom and once completed, the company expects that over 100 learners will have benefited from this incredible programme.

General Skills Transfer
Dartcom maintains its strong commitment to customer satisfaction, and exceptional service levels by also providing customised training to meet the specific needs of its clients, contractors, and sub-contractors.
Corporate Social Investment
Dartcom contributes to a number of non-profit organisations with the aim of uplifting those most in need. For this purpose, the company partners with the HM Pitje Foundation that was established in 2012 to improve the conditions of those living in vulnerable communities.

HM Pitje Foundation
The Foundation’s primary remit is to establish infrastructure in township schools. With an initial focus on Soshanguve and Mamelodi in Pretoria, Gauteng and Polokwane, Limpopo, the Foundation provides both the funding and assistance required for the development of vegetable gardens, sporting facilities, libraries and computer rooms.
Providing scholars within these disadvantaged communities the tools they need to better succeed complements Dartcom’s core business, making the Foundation the ideal partner in our corporate social responsibility initiatives. Dartcom proudly supports the HM Pitje Foundation.
